Arsenal target Timothy Castagne is expected to be the next player to leave Leicester City ahead of transfer deadline day.
Timothy Castagne is expected to be on the move amid rumours that Arsenal fancy signing the Leicester City defender.
That is according to Sky Sports, who report that Castagne is ‘expected to be the next to leave’ Leicester City this summer.
It’s noted that Fulham have been in ‘advanced talks’ to bring the Belgium international down to West London in the coming days.
Leicester have lost a number of players this summer with the likes of Harvey Barnes and James Maddison making immediate returns to the Premier League.
Castagne could follow suit with a move to Fulham with his days at Leicester seemingly coming to an end.
Castagne was on the bench on Saturday afternoon as Leicester beat Rotherham United 2-1 away from home.
The 27-year-old didn’t come on though and it seems clear that the Foxes are expecting to see him leave very soon.
Arsenal seem to be watching Timothy Castagne situation
Whilst Fulham could be the most likely destination for Castagne, there is also interest from London rivals Arsenal.
Belgian reporter Sacha Tavolieri reported in June that Arsenal had opened talks to sign Castagne.
The Gunners ended up going in another direction by snapping up Jurrien Timber, but he is now facing a long spell on the sidelines through injury.

Arsenal may now fancy signing a defender who can play at left back and right back with Castagne fitting the bill.
The 27-year-old has shown his versatility in the Premier League and that may well be what Mikel Arteta wants.
The Express claimed after Timber’s injury that Arsenal could make a late move for Castagne with Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters also on the wish list.
The Gunners will be looking into a move in the coming days and may well challenge Fulham for Castagne’s situation before the transfer deadline.
