England do have a major problem at left-back, and Luke Thomas is one rated highly and we could see him as a potential player to get into Thomas Tuchel’s England squad, but he needs game time at a certain level.

Luke Thomas is at the moment just a cover for Victor Kristiansen. James Justin are also an alternative player to use in the left back. Kristiansen is a regular starter for Denmark and to date on 17 full caps, but still not really seen as a proper Premier League class act. Last season he was brilliant for Bologna in Italian Serie A, to just understand what level you need to be on to find your place in this special league. James Justin is also a solid footballer with international experience both at u.21 and full level for England, though his only cap came as far back as 2022, in a defeat to Hungary.
